For a true, family-style feast, vegan chef Daphne Cheng and her Verite catering are offering a Thanksgiving spread at the Gramercy Schoolhouse from 6-10pm on Sunday, November 27. Think fall classic flavors such as pumpkin, sweet potato, and cranberry, with a twist of vegan-friendly flare and plant-based dishes. Roasted seitan with cornbread stuffing and strawberry-cranberry chutney is just one of the numerous, mouth-watering options, to be washed down with mulled apple cider and fresh ginger sangria. The amiable companion to Candle 79, Candle Café offers a more informal Thanksgiving and year-round dining experience with a four-course prix fixe menu at $55 or a wallet-friendly assortment of a la carte options. A Chelsea and Upper West Side vegan treasure, Blossom hosts Thanksgiving dinner until 9pm on Thursday. Another vegan hot spot on the Upper West Side, the casual Peacefood café will be serving homemade stuffing with all entrees. Other holiday favorites include porcini mushroom gravy, mashed creamy Asian purple sweet potatoes and sautéed kale with lemon.

A landmark of the East Village since 1976, Angelica Kitchen is well known for its no- reservation policy. Come Thanksgiving, however, reservations are strongly recommended to get a taste of the 5-course prix fixe menu of veggie delight. At $55/person, the dining room will be serving indulgences like polenta baked with fresh figs, Thai-style red kuri squash bisque and cauliflower celery root soufflé. Top it all off with a pear spice cake sugared in lemon balm poached Seckel pear.
